Abstract
In this chapter, I invite you to explore the foundational values shaping your PGCert design. Building on my previous work in Inclusive Learning Design, I introduce the ‘roots-to-shoots’ model, positioning inclusivity as the core ethos for a more accessible and context-aware PGCert. I propose the nine I.N.C.L.U.S.I.V.E. values (Intentionally Equitable, Nurturing, Co-created, Liberating, User-friendly, Socially Responsible, Integrative, Values-based, Ecological) as a guide. This chapter equips you to translate these values into your PGCert practice, so that your PGCert models the inclusive practices participants can translate into their own practice. The case studies presented are about co-creation and the role of alumni and about neuro-friendly approaches and instructional techniques.
